Dennis Tyfus just posted what we consider to be one of our best performances.  Recorded at his Antwerp flat for Radio Centraal, this is RK stripped down to nothing, straight outta 2007, the last jam of European tour.

Well we’re officially back from tour and back into the game.  Our CD is out on Ecstatic Peace, go check it out.  A billion thanks to everyone who helped us out on tour and definitely the Gala Drop / Filho Unico crew for making it all happen.  The whole tour really made us feel like something special is happening.  Not possible, but happening.

The long threatened live series of Religious Knives discs is finally ready, just in time for our european tour.  150 copies of each CDR, sold as separate volumes, will be available first in Europe and then more widely when we return.  Both discs document relatively recent RK outings, and contain selected jams from various gigs, including a rare document of the “RK2″ duo live at Big Jar Books, RK inna “Wierd style,” and more.  The series is called “Evidence” and that’s what we’re trying to drop.  We’ll post some mp3s when we’re back as well.

The Door will be released on October 14th!

Okay seriously though:

“The Door” is a new CD we recorded for Ecstatic Peace in the Spring of 2008 and it should be coming out in the fall.  It’s got 6 songs, including the live jammer “Downstairs” that we worked out on the west coast and beyond, and is a deeper view of the subterranean dweller, the unfortunate seeker, and the thrill of survival.

Maya’s work is in a few gallery shows.  At Le Life in France until September, and Nate Nelson and Maya are both in a show which is up until August at School 33 in Baltimore.
